Senior Advisor, People and Capability – Permanent

We are looking for a generalist HR professional to join our busy and customer-focussed People and Capability team. No two days are the same!

About the role 

Our friendly team is responsible for a wide range of activities including: payroll; HR metrics and reporting; health, safety and well-being; learning and development; employment relations; remuneration; recruitment and induction; strategy and policy; and change management. 

We are ideally looking for someone who has broad experience across the spectrum of HR and Organisational Development work.  You need to be a team player who wants to work collaboratively with your colleagues to provide a great service to our managers and staff.

Skills and experience

You will be an ideal fit for this role if you have:

  • A solid operational background in HR
  • Experience as a business partner or as an account manager
  • An interest in taking on responsibility for a specialist portfolio of work
  • A sound understanding of employment relations and terms and conditions
  • The ability to build rapport and establish high trust relationships with staff
  • Great time management and organisational skills
