Senior Policy Analyst, Policy & International - Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Policy Analyst to join the Policy and International team to lead the delivery of NZQA's international work programme.

About the role
The Policy and International team develops tertiary education operational and regulatory policy, and, provides advice on tertiary and international education matters
Our busy and varied work programme means that you will work on and lead a range of interesting operational policy work focused on New Zealand's international qualification recognition agreements and relationships.
If you are interested in international education, have good judgment and show initiative, we want to hear from you.

Skills and experience
You will use your analytical and conceptual skills along with sound judgement to develop solutions to complex issues. You will influence government decisions and inform quality assurance and international education settings.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders domestically and internationally, including staff in other government agencies and education sector stakeholder groups.
To succeed you will apply your skills to lead, plan, organise and execute NZQA's international work programme.
