An exciting, challenging and career enhancing opportunity awaits you. We are looking for an Assessment and Moderation Facilitator who can make a difference to the quality and consistency of internal assessment carried out in our kura kaupapa, secondary schools and tertiary organisations. The Assessment and Moderation Facilitator will primarily be responsible for a number of NCEA subjects.

Assessment and Moderation Facilitators work closely with subject moderators and education organisations to ensure that assessment is consistent and that credible standards are maintained. They also provide professional advice on related policies, procedures and issues.

The position is for you if you are passionate about assessment and are keen to work with other assessment experts to ensure fair, valid and consistent moderation.

Applicants must understand the principles of standards based assessment and have a working knowledge of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework and the NCEA. You must have recognised assessment expertise.

The preferred applicant will have had moderation experience and recent experience in a New Zealand secondary school or wharekura.
